hey there (: wanna share something here. about what i am watching now. it's Dong Yi. this movie is very very different with others. it's about a royal story (Joseon dynasty) with its intrigues. Dong Yi is an ordinary girl who dares to fight against the queen's evil. of course her life is full of struggle. she also attracts the king's attention and the king fells in love with her.
highly recommend you to watch it. better than you watch others movies which are only about teenagers love. it's so common.

set during the reign of King Sukjong in the Joseon dynasty,the story focuses on Dong Yi, a water maid who gains the trust of Queen Inhyeon and later the favour of the king when he is moved by her prayers for the health of the Queen during the court disputes caused by Jang hee Bin. Dong Yi becomes a concubine with the rank of sook-bin and bears a son who will become the 21st king of Joseon, Yeongjo.
